DESCRIPTION
The original Mustang P-51 Janie was used towards the end of the Second World War and the beginning of the Korean War. The D version of the P-51 was equipped with the Packard-engine V-1650. It was a supercharged version of the legendary Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. The scale replica of the P-51D Mustang Janie in the original design is second to none. The model is made of EPP in foamed construction. Outstanding flight performance and unmatched attention to detail distinguish the hype from Janie.

The model is designed for outdoor use intended, and normal wind conditions are no problem for the P-51D. It is controlled by elevation, side and aileron and motor control. Height and ailerons are designed as a gap-free Elastoflaps to achieve a maximum rudder effect. The model goes clean through all the maneuvers and is always safe at the helm.

The P-51D is prefabricated to 95%, the decor is already applied to the model. All components such as servos, brushless motor and controller are mounted ready to fly. Similarly, the power poles are installed. The EXT wing is mounted with a screw on the trunk.

Janie is the drive of a brushless outrunner with 2,000 U / min / V in the direct drive. The prototypical 4-blade propeller gives the model a powerful acceleration at high speed. The regulation of the motor is effected by a 12A brushless controller, which allows particularly fine control of the engine. As the drive battery Avionics LiPo battery comes with 2s 7.4V 800mAh to 1.250mAh (No. ORI60092/3/4) is used, which must be purchased separately. With this power set can be achieved depending on flying style flight times of about 8 to 10 minutes. The change of the battery is easily accessible via the removable canopy that is secured by a magnetic closure.

In the air, the P-51D then shows their true strengths! The start of the hand goes by itself and is completely uncritical.
