The MR-03 chassis heralds a new era in the era of the Mini-Z Racer. Objective was to develop firstly a chassis that provides an even better handling dynamics and comes up with peak performance. Second, the chassis should be flexible so that it can absorb all the previous bodies of the MR-015 and MR-02 series. This allows almost all previous bodies of the Mini-Z Racer MR-03 on the chassis assembled without problems.

The MR-03 chassis is uncompromisingly designed for racing performance. It is considerably narrower than the MR-02's predecessor and has a much lower center of gravity. This results in significantly higher cornering speeds and a very agile handling. The newly developed chassis Front wheel alignment gives the maximum mechanical grip and perfect traction in all driving situations.

The Mini-Z MR-03-Racers are equipped with the latest 2.4 GHz wireless technology. It scans the remote control when you turn the entire frequency band and automatically selects a free channel. This eliminates the denial of the frequencies among the drivers. A total of up to 40 models can be operated simultaneously. With this new system is no more crystals are used. The frequencies are generated by a PLL synthesizer.

With the new transmission technology, the entire electronics has been revised MR-03. The new processor runs faster and gives the MR-03 in conjunction with the HiSpeed FETs an ultra fast response. The delivery of the MR-03-Racer is done without the 2.4 GHz transmitter. For the operation of the models of Kyosho Perfex KT-18 transmitter, No. 82 001 is required.
