Description
With the Lazer ZX-5 FS, we present the next evolutionary stage of a successful electric road vehicle. By modifying the weight distribution and a number of detailed improvements, the FS is significantly more agile and faster than its predecessor.
The innovation starts from the chassis plate, which is in the FS 10 mm longer and gives the model significantly greater stability and agility. The chassis made from a special plastic with a high carbon fiber content. Thus, in the lowest weight is achieved at a maximum torsional rigidity. It has been deliberately omitted here carbon fiber, as this material is extremely brittle and it is hard race always come back to fractures of parts. The engine sits in front of the chassis, while the batteries are sitting in the rear of the FS. Thus, a substantially more uniform weight distribution is achieved in the chassis. Power is transmitted through a moving easily Kardansystem. Front and rear axles are fitted with shaft drive.
