No more hunting for lost clips or replacing bodies after the clips pull through the body. Easy, Instant Engagement
Mounting Sledge’s body is effortless—just place the body forward on the chassis, slide it back, and it practically installs itself. The front mount slides easily through the port in the front shock tower, and the rear latches are guided into place by ramps molded into the receivers on the chassis. A gentle press is all it takes for a satisfying click to latch the body into place, yet the latches hold is incredibly strong thanks to the self-engaging design. The harder a force pulls on the latch, the tighter it grips.

Internal Roll Cage
Sledge’s internal roll cage extends the entire length of the body for superior strength and rigidity. This robust reinforcing structure features seven cross bars and 14 separate attachment points. While other trucks make do with 4 body posts, Traxxas built the Sledge body the right way, giving you freedom to go big.

Exterior Wear Protection
Body clips concentrate impact forces into four small attachment points, making it easier for them to tear through a body. The Sledge body uses wide molded inserts to distribute impact forces directly to its internal frame, virtually eliminating pull-through concerns. Dual skid plates on the roof spare the body from roll-over damage, provide additional reinforcement, and are inexpensive to replace when worn.
