Tamiya Fine Surface Primer is ideal for preparing your plastic model parts made of ABS and Styrene plastic for paint. The primer may also be used for metal parts. The white color primer is great for light color applications; while Tamiya’s gray surface primer is ideal for dark color applications. Both primers bite well into plastic surfaces and even fill in small scratches and imperfections. Tamiya’s surface primers may also be wet sanded before paint is applied. Each can contain 180ml.
★Ideal as a red base color that requires a particularly vivid color. It is less likely to be uneven in the parts where the color is difficult to apply, such as the edge part.
★Because it has a strong concealment power, it can also be used as a base when painting dark parts such as black in red.
★Contains a special resin that adheres well to metals such as copper, brass, and iron, as well as plastics, and is excellent for polishing work. It is sprayed as it is from the top of the incorporated etching parts, adjusting the color tone of the base and preventing uneven color of the topcoat.
